Our Federation has arisen from the desire of parents to ensure proper conditions for growing up and education in a healthy environment for our children. Within the comprehensive and manifold range of information and content that anyone can find in the virtual environment, in some cases this might have a negative effect of the development and thus future of our children.

In the absence of proper regulation of the virtual environment that grows at a rapidp ace, it is an important task to sensitize “the actors involved” (parents, children, content producers, content hosts, etc.) to protect our children. I believe that with this project we can actively contribute to solutions and enhancements, like calling attention to potential risks to which our children can be exposed online, suggesting a set of principles for the main actors involved in the virtual environment, and raising awareness, promotion and implementation of this set of principles.
