What is your / your institution´s interest /objective for being part of POSCON?

Participation in the POSCON Network offers new ideas and information and brings together good colleagues from other countries to share best practices as well as topical and recent news and innovations in the field.

I defended my doctoral thesis in the spring of 2013. My research interests are connected to young children’s usage of new media and digital technology. I am also interested in ways to make online content and screen-based devices more educational for young children at home and in pre-schools.

What is your / your institution´s interest regarding positive content in general?

One of the main areas of responsibility of Tallinn University is teacher training and research in the field of educational sciences in Estonia, but we are responsible for innovations in education as well. Professionally created positive content is a good opportunity for teaching today’s children in a modern way.

What are your wishes regarding positive content and services for children?

I really wish that there were more good, age-appropriate, educative content and services for young children, which would help parents and teachers to develop children in a significant way and provide children with joyous and exciting ways of learning.
